Job summary

Job description

• Perform mechanical assembly of components, structures, and subsystems according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Operate basic workshop tools and machinery used in production and fabrication
• Assist in installation, fitting, and alignment of mechanical parts and assemblies
• Support testing, inspection, and quality verification of mechanical assemblies
• Interpret mechanical drawings, technical documents, and assembly procedures
• Maintain production records and documentation related to assembly activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
• Work closely with engineers and production teams during builds and prototype development
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or issues during assembly and report them to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Polytechnic in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field
• 0 – 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, fasteners, and fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
• Experience with precision assembly or fabrication processes
• Aerospace or defense industry experience is a plus
