Job summary

Optimized Electrotech in Bengaluru is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Engineer to assemble and integrate electro‑mechanical subsystems, perform functional and environmental tests, and support prototyping efforts. The role requires reading drawings, inspecting work, and addressing fitment issues with a focus on quality and safety.

You will coordinate with design and supplier teams, maintain records, and contribute to continuous product improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–4 years in mechanical assembly of electro‑mechanical products/components.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Conduct visual inspections and functional checks during assembly.
• Ensure assembly quality and adherence to processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly fitment issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
• Conducting visual inspections and functional checks during assembly
• Ensuring assembly quality and adherence to processes
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly fitment issues

Desired Technical Skill:

• Strong knowledge on using hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, pneumatic tools
• Familiarity with fasteners, fittings, seals, and torque requirements
• Knowledge of basic electrical connections, wiring, and cable routing (added advantage)
• Maintaining 5S and safety standardsat the workstation
