Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of AMR systemsfrom concept, architecture and design to testing and deployment.
- Define the AMR system architecture, including sensors, control systems, power management and communication interfaces.
- Guide teams in developing and integrating key modules such as perception (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic), localization, mapping (SLAM), path planning and obstacle avoidance.
- Oversee the development of embedded control software, motion control algorithms and safety systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, software and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.
- Define testing protocols for navigation accuracy, payload handling, battery performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO 3691-4, CE and other relevant norms).
- Support prototyping, pilot runs and production release activities.
- Mentor and build a strong cross-functional team capable of scaling AMR solutions for various applications.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in robotics, AI and sensor fusion and identify opportunities to leverage them.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in autonomous or robotic system development.
- Strong understanding of robot kinematics, motion planning, control systems and embedded software.

- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE).
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo, RViz, or MATLAB/Simulink.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with warehouse automation, logistics robots or AGVs.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based perception systems and cloud integration for fleet management.
- Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
