Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
Experience: 6-8 Years
Role Purpose:
To support the Project Management Office in planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and controlling multidisciplinary industrial projects involving Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation activities. The candidate will be responsible for schedule management, progress tracking, performance reporting, risk monitoring, and dashboard development to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP).
- Establish project baselines and track progress against planned milestones.
- Monitor Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning activities.
- Prepare look-ahead plans (2-week, 4-week, and monthly).
Progress Monitoring & Project Controls
- Track physical progress across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Conduct schedule variance analysis and identify delays, bottlenecks, and critical path impacts.
- Monitor productivity, resource deployment, and project performance.
- Support implementation of project control processes and KPI frameworks.

Reporting & Management Reviews
- Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Generate progress dashboards, milestone tracking reports, S-curves, and executive summaries.
- Present key project insights to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain project risk and issue registers.
Power BI & Digital PMO
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards for schedule, cost, resource, and progress monitoring.
- Automate project reporting using Power BI and Excel datasets.
- Integrate data from project trackers and management reports.
- Develop KPI dashboards for project performance and management reviews.
Risk & Performance Management
- Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and tracking.
- Analyze project trends, forecast completion dates, and monitor recovery plans.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Engineering Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, and Client Teams.
- Ensure timely collection and validation of project progress data.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across all project disciplines.
Required Qualifications
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical.
- PMP Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 6-8 years of experience in PMO, Planning, Project Controls, or Project Management within Industrial/EPC projects.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing, process plant, chemical, steel, power, cement, or infrastructure projects preferred.
