Job summary

Neev is seeking an L2 Windows & Virtualization Engineer in Navi Mumbai (Airoli) to maintain and optimize IT infrastructure. You will manage Windows Server administration, Hyper-V clusters, performance tuning, patch management, and act as the primary technical liaison for OEM vendor support and escalations.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, on-site work, and willingness to handle complex incidents and DR testing. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Windows Server, Hyper‑V virtualization and enterprise infrastructure management.
• Certifications (preferred) such as Windows Server, MCSE/MCITP or ITIL Foundation.
• Strong troubleshooting, patch management, backup/DR and vendor escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 troubleshooting and administration for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Manage Hyper-V clusters, VM provisioning, resource allocation and performance tuning.
• Lead technical escalations with OEM vendors (Microsoft & hardware) for complex issues and outages.
• Execute OS patch cycles using WSUS/SCCM/MECM and drive vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot backup/storage failures, execute DR steps and manage incidents, problems, and changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Windows Server Administration: Provide L2 troubleshooting and administration for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP.
• Hyper-V Virtualization: Manage Hyper-V clusters, VM provisioning, resource allocation, host health, and performance tuning.
• OEM & Vendor Technical Escalation: Lead technical escalations and manage end-to-end coordination with OEM vendors (e.g., Microsoft, hardware OEMs, backup vendors) to troubleshoot complex system bugs, hardware failures, and high‑severity outages.
• Patching & Vulnerability Remediation: Execute OS patch cycles using enterprise tools (WSUS/SCCM/MECM), drive vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance.
• Backup, Storage & Incident Management: Troubleshoot backup/storage failures, execute disaster recovery (DR) steps, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage Incident, Problem, and Change tickets.
