Job summary

NVT Quality Lifestyle Estate is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to support day-to-day execution at our construction site in Bengaluru. You will ensure quality, safety and timely completion of work as per drawings and specifications.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred. You will read structural drawings, coordinate with project team and vendors, and assist in preparing DPRs and daily reports.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project (basic).
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of construction materials and IS codes.
• Good communication and site handling skills.
• Ready to work at site location, flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Supervise site work (RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works) and ensure work aligns with drawings, BOQ and quality standards.
• Quality & Measurement: Check materials (cement, steel, aggregate, concrete); verify line & level, measurement, and concrete pouring quality; prepare measurement sheets and verify contractor bills.
• Coordination: Coordinate with Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Architect, Structural Consultant and Safety Officer; liaise with material vendors for procurement and delivery; report daily progress.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR), Material Requirement, Labour Report; maintain site registers (Material Inward, Concrete Pour Card, Drawing Register); prepare checklists for activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety protocols on site (helmet, harness, safety nets); follow ISO safety & quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• - Supervise site work - RCC, Brickwork, Plastering, Waterproofing, Finishing works.
• - Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ and quality standards.
• - Manage daily labour and contractor work and allocate tasks.

Quality & Measurement

• - Check quality of materials - cement, steel, aggregate, concrete etc.
• - Check line & level, measurement, and concrete pouring quality.
• - Prepare measurement sheets and check bills / RA bills of contractors.

Coordination

• - Coordinate with Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Architect, Structural Consultant and Safety Officer.
• - Coordinate with material vendors for site material procurement and delivery.
• - Report daily progress to Project Manager.

Documentation & Reporting

• - Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR), Material Requirement, Labour Report.
• - Maintain site registers - Material Inward, Concrete Pour Card, Drawing Register.
• - Prepare checklists for all activities before, during and after work.

Safety & Compliance
