Job summary

Kent Constructions Pvt. Ltd. in Kerala is seeking a junior Site Engineer to support site supervision and execution of construction activities. Freshers are welcome, with priority given to candidates who have some site exposure and a willingness to learn.

The role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors and workers, checking drawings, and assisting with quality, safety, and progress reporting while growing under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Freshers can apply; 1 year of construction site experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor site work as per drawings, specs, and instructions.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Assist in checking the quality and progress of construction work.
• Support execution of civil and structural works under senior engineers.
• Assist in monitoring reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering.
• Check measurements, levels, alignment, and dimensions as required.
• Identify site issues and report them to the Senior Site Engineer/Project Engineer.
• Monitor material usage and inform the team about material requirements.
• Maintain daily site records and assist in progress reports.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
