Job summary

Bevel S.r.o. is seeking a field service engineer to act as the technical point of contact for Indian customers, focusing on maintenance, spares management, and first-line technical queries. The role is based in Chennai with travel to customer sites across states.

You will source local suppliers, coordinate service visits, and support the setup of a partner-run service centre. Regular travel is required, especially to Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.

Qualifications

• ITI graduate (mechanical/electrical/fitter trade or similar).
• Comfortable in both a workshop setting and talking to customers.
• Willing and able to travel regularly.
• Basic written English for reports and communication.
• Fluent in Tamil and comfortable in Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical queries on specs and product details.
• Manage spares/consumables for existing customers.
• Source and coordinate with local component suppliers.
• Coordinate outsourced service visits scheduling, site access, follow-up.
