Job summary

DATOMS is an IoT software platform that supports equipment manufacturers, leasing and rental companies with ML/AI and IoT. The Service Engineer will perform installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment, travel to customer sites, and maintain service records. Freshers may apply; valid driving license and private bike are required.

ITI holders with electrical/electronic tools background are preferred, and basic MS Office knowledge is advantageous for administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• ITI qualification in Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, or Wireman.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronics, or IoT systems is preferred.
• Must be based in or willing to work in the Chennai region.
• Possession of a private bike is mandatory.
• Valid driving license is required.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation, servicing, and maintenance.
• Good communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
• Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
