Career Path HR Solution is seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai for pharmaceutical procurement operations. The role involves sourcing materials, vendor management, price negotiation, PO processing, and ensuring timely material availability.

Candidate should have 2–6 years of pharma procurement experience, strong MS Excel and ERP skills, and excellent vendor coordination. This is a full-time position based at office with female candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement/purchase.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, PO processing, quotation comparison and material follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements.
• Identify and develop vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and prepare statements.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, documentation and timely deliveries.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve delays, quality issues, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Accounts and other departments for material requirements.
• Ensure procurement from approved vendors and maintain documentation.
• Follow up on pending POs and maintain purchase/delivery trackers; support export orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements.
• Identify and develop vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and prepare comparative statements.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, documentation, and timely deliveries.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to delays, quality, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• Ensure procurement from approved/qualified vendors and maintain required documentation.
• Follow up on pending POs and maintain purchase/delivery trackers.Support export orders by ensuring critical materials are available as per production and dispatch timelines.
• Maintain purchase data, vendor records, and MIS reports in ERP/Excel.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement/purchase.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of vendor management, negotiation, purchase orders, quotation comparison, and material follow-up.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical raw materials and/or packaging materials.Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Candidate Profile

Female candidates with relevant pharmaceutical purchase/procurement experience who can independently manage vendors, negotiations, POs, material follow-ups, and cross-functional coordination will be preferred.
