Job description

• 1. Assist in recording day-to-day accounting transactions relating to receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
• 2. Support maintenance of books of accounts and timely updation of transactions in ERP/accounting software.
• 3. Assist in accounting and documentation of revenue arising from Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, Warehousing, and other logistics services.
• 4. Verify and compile supporting documents such as vendor invoices, customer invoices, Airway Bills (AWB), Bills of Lading (BL) and other operational documents.
• 5. Process vendor bills and employee reimbursement claims after preliminary scrutiny for completeness and accuracy.
• 6. Assist in customer billing and follow-up for collection of supporting documents required for invoicing.
• 7. Support reconciliation of job-related revenues and expenses and assist in identifying discrepancies, if any.
• 8. Assist in preparation of bank reconciliation statements and follow-up for clearance of outstanding entries.
• 9. Maintain accounting records, vouchers, files, and statutory documents in an organized manner for audit and compliance purposes.
• 10. Provide support during internal audits, statutory audits, and preparation of financial information as required.
• 11. Coordinate with operations, customer service, and other departments for obtaining accounting-related information and documentation.
• 12. Prepare routine MIS reports and statements as required by Branch Finance and Management.
• 13. Ensure adherence to Company policies, accounting procedures, and internal control requirements.
• 14. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the Reporting Officer or Management.
