Job summary

Maxima Consulting is seeking a hands-on Talent Sourcer based in India to build pipelines for tech and corporate roles across the US, India, and Europe. You will partner with hiring managers, leads, and HR to map talent pools, run targeted outreach, and perform preliminary checks including visa/work status.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of sourcing experience across US and India markets, familiarity with US visa types and Indian labor standards, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of core sourcing experience across US and India markets.
• Working knowledge of US employment concepts (FLSA, visa types).
• Knowledge of India labor standards (PF, Gratuity, ESI) and local notices.
• Strong English communication; experience coordinating with international teams.
• Willingness to overlap hours with US stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Find and engage passive candidates for US and India, with Europe as needed.
• Conduct initial screening chats to gather salary expectations, notice periods, and work eligibility.
• Manage US-specific sourcing details including tax classifications and visa status.
• Handle India-specific sourcing details, including statutory notice periods and local hiring practices.
• Keep ATS clean with updated candidate records, outreach logs, and metrics.
• Share market feedback with hiring managers on availability and salary trends.

We are expanding our global hiring footprint and looking for a hands‑on Talent Sourcer based in India to help us hunt for top‑tier talent across the global markets. In this role, you’ll build strong candidate pipelines for our tech and corporate teams while ensuring our hiring stays smooth, fast, and compliant with local employment rules in both regions.

As our Talent Sourcer, you will be the frontline scout finding passive talent across two very dynamic markets. You’ll partner directly with hiring managers, recruitment leads, and HR to map out talent pools, run targeted outreach, and handle preliminary checks—from work visas in the US to notice periods in India. If you enjoy the thrill of finding hard‑to‑reach candidates and know how cross‑border hiring operates, you’ll fit right in.

Technical Requirements

• Deep hands‑on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and candidate outreach tools.
• Solid skills in Boolean searches
• Practical familiarity with candidate verification systems and background check workflows (India BGV processes and basic US work authorization verification).
• General awareness of data privacy standards when handling candidate information (India DPDP Act, US state regulations).

Responsibilities

• Find and engage passive candidates for tech and business roles across the US and India as well as Europe as needed.
• Conduct initial screening chats to gather salary expectations, notice periods, and work eligibility.
• Manage US‑specific sourcing details, including tax classifications (W2 vs. C2C/1099) and visa/work status (H-1B, L-1, OPT/EAD, Green Card).
• Manage India‑specific sourcing details, including statutory notice periods (30-90 days), buyout discussions, and standard local hiring practices.
• Keep our ATS clean and organized with updated candidate records, outreach logs, and sourcing metrics.
• Share real‑time market feedback with hiring managers regarding candidate availability, salary trends, and search blockers.

Must Have

• 1 to 4 years of core sourcing experience handling both US and India candidate markets.
• Working understanding of US employment concepts: FLSA classification (Exempt/Non-Exempt), standard visa types, and employment‑at‑will principles.
• Working understanding of India labor standards: Statutory benefits (PF, Gratuity, ESI), notice periods, and standard contract norms.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for working with international teams and candidates.
• Willingness to work overlapping hours to connect with US‑based stakeholders and candidates.
