Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Products.
• Knowledge in Raw Materials Procurement like steel, aluminum, copper and polymers.
• In depth Knowledge in SAP MM Module.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Requesting RFQ, obtain quotations, negotiate prices and commercial terms and release purchase orders.
• Plan and execute procurement activities based on production requirements, material plans, and inventory levels.
• Source and procure raw materials, automobile components, engineering products, and bought-out items.
• Handle procurement of raw materials such as steel, aluminum, copper and polymers.
• Manage procurement of automobile parts and components like auto electrical items, batteries, lamps and LED components, lubricants, friction products, ingots, castings, bought-out parts, packaging materials.
• Identify potential suppliers and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and reliability.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for order status, dispatches, delivery schedules, and pending materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
