Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to manage material planning and procurement, lead import vendor sourcing for key raw materials, and ensure timely production support. The role involves coordinating with the purchase team, global mentors, and handling EDI/ASN setups.

Strong communication skills and familiarity with SAP MM, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are desirable to excel in this position and maintain quality standards across the supply

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical with 5 to 7 years of experience.
• SAP-MM module experience desirable.
• MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint and English communication desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead import vendor sourcing for key raw materials to support production needs with cost control and timely escalation.
• Coordinate supplier creation with purchase team and global mentor, including SAinfo record and EDI/ASN setup.
• Troubleshoot errors and provide solutions, manage premium freight portal entry/approval processes.

• Knowledge of Material Planning and Procurement Function & able to Lead Import vendor sourcing initiativesfor key raw materials, ensuring cost-effective procurement and maintaining high-quality standards to supportproduction needs with strong follow up and timely escalations
• Knowledge of Supplier based creation and coordinate with purchase team and global mentor Including SAinfo record and EDI/ASN set up
• Trouble shooting of errors/challenges and solution as well as premium freight portal entry/approval process
• Knowledge of Transport and forwarder set up including custom clearance and compliance
• Responsible for Vendor Order and Delivery management: Review and steer target fulfillment with suppliers
• -Daily works management and reporting
• Strong communication with cross function team

Qualifications

B.E. Mechanical with 5 to 7 years of experience.

SAP- MM module /Microsoft office tools like excel/word/power points/English communication
is desirable.
