Job summary

Effic Hr Consulting invites applications for a procurement specialist to manage direct and indirect materials, tooling cost estimates, and RFQ handling in our Sriperumbudur office. You will drive supplier negotiations, drive cost-down initiatives, and ensure timely approvals and EO processes with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes strong MIS reporting, ERP-based vendor master management, and close coordination with internal departments to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase & Vendor development
• Exposure in Tooling Cost estimate
• Candidates from Tier 1 Automotive Industries preferable

Responsibilities

• Procurement of Direct & Indirect Materials
• Material planning and scheduling
• Handle RFQs and finalize tooling cost estimates
• Negotiate prices for RFQs and components
• Create and modify POs including price changes with cost breakdown
• Develop child parts for new development and second sourcing
• Oversee development process to ensure timely component delivery
• Arrange material as per SOS requirements and lead times
• Prepare MIS data for monthly price changes and vendor master in ERP
• Coordinate between supplier and internal departments; resolve supplier concerns

• Ensure SOP (Start of production) readiness
• Prepare MIS data for monthly price increase/decrease, vendor master management in ERP for schedule generation, on time delivery ratings.
• Smooth coordination between supplier and internal departments. Monitor and resolve supplier concerns

Mandatory Requirements

1. Good experience in Purchase & Vendor development
2. Good exposure in Tooling Cost estimate
3. Candidates from Tier 1 Automotive Industries preferable
