Job summary

AIS in Haridwar, India, is seeking a dispatch supervisor to oversee loading activities and ensure trucks are loaded within 90 minutes as per SOP. You will allocate contract manpower to maintain productivity and ensure material dispatch aligns with the ISD loading plan.

You will guide crane operators and forklift use, resolve transporter and driver issues, enforce discipline, manage FIFO stock, and participate in TPM/DOJO activities while prioritizing PPE safety and accident prevention.

Qualifications

• Experience in loading operations and dispatch planning is preferred.
• Familiarity with SOPs and safety protocols.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading of trucks per SOP and 90-minute target.
• Ensure stock FIFO and proper stock handling on shop floor.
• Guide crane operators and forklift use; maintain discipline on site.
• Resolve issues with transporters and drivers; ensure safety.

Loading of truck within 90 minutes, as per SOP.

Allocating contract manpower in such a way thatthey would generate productivity of more than 60 MT/ group, availability ofmanpower on the shop floor to handle the dispatch properly ,

To dispatch the material as per ISD(as per loadingslip) plan.

During this proper control the shift activities in productivities in allareas of dispatches

Guidance Crane operator for loading & properuse of forklift, maintenance of forklift.

Resolve all problems of transporter & trucksdrivers during truck in loading.

Maintain discipline of manpower; avoid idling etc.by proper control.

FIFO management of stock.

GCS REPORT

TPM and DOJO activities

To attendto safety related issues like use of PPE, prevention of accident.

Study for the maximum load in vehicle as requireby customer. (double decker, vertical loading, etc.)
