Job summary

Innovative Automation in Pune, Maharashtra invites candidates for a frontline sales-support role. The position targets individuals with BE or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation (except Civil) who can communicate effectively with customers and the internal team.

Fluent English and Hindi are required, Marathi knowledge is an advantage. The role involves understanding customer needs, preparing cost estimates, handling orders, and coordinating with field engineers

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation (excluding Civil)
• 6–12 months exp in manufacturing/trading company dealing in engineering products or fresh candidates willing to train and work in Sales

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' technical requirements via phone or email and suggest a suitable product or service
• Provide support to Field Sales, estimate product cost, and submit proposals to customers
• Order receipt and processing; maintain the sales funnel for field engineers
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments during execution of work
• Facilitate processes like drawings approvals, order amendments, inspections, despatch clearances and other post-sales coordination
• Attend various customer issues/requirements

Qualification:

BE / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instru or allied streams except Civil Engineering

Experience:

6-12 months in a Manufacturing / Trading company dealing in engineering products working in similar function OR Fresh Candidates can be considered if found willing to train themselves and work in Sales Department

Skill Set Required

• Should be fluent in Spoken & Written English, Spoken Hindi
• Knowledge of Spoken Marathi will be an added advantage
• Should be able to communicate effectively both with external as well as the internal Customers
• Should be able to work efficiently on MS Office Programmes like Word, Excel and Outlook at a reasonably good speed
• Should be a good learner , enough to acquire the Product knowledge in the course of training period
• Should be able to acquire in the course of training period , an adequate working knowledge of Commercial terms and conditions, commercial documentation, Taxes etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Understanding customers technical requirements (over Phone or email) and selecting a Product or Service suitable for that customer
• Providing Support to Field Sales team , Product cost estimation and submitting the Proposals to the Customer
• Order receipt and Order Processing. Maintaining the Sales Funnel for respective Field Engineers
• Co-ordination with Customer as well as the internal departments in execution of work
• Facilitating various Processes like Drawing Approvals, Order amendments, Inspection, Despatch clearances and other co-ordination work post Sales
