Job summary

Jindal Stainless (JSL) in Odisha seeks a procurement professional to manage project and MRO sourcing in the steel industry. You will handle capex, opex, spares and consumables, driving the full PR to PO cycle and coordinating with suppliers.

You will oversee post-order activities such as payment follow-up, delivery tracking, SRR clearance and resolution of quality claims, using SAP MM and advanced Excel for MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in project and MRO procurement in steel.
• Capex, Opex, spares and consumables procurement.
• End-to-end procurement from PR to PO.
• Post-order activities including payment follow-up and delivery tracking.
• SRR clearance and debit balance closure.
• Proficient in SAP MM for PO creation and payments.
• Advanced Excel for MIS and procurement reporting.
• Knowledge of Import Procurement, EPCG License and international terms.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Project Procurement / MRO Procurement within the Steel Industry.
• Hands-on experience in procurement of Capex, Opex, Spares & Consumables.
• Ability to independently handle the complete procurement cycle from PR to PO.
• Expertise in post-order activities including payment follow-up, delivery tracking, SRR clearance, quality claims, and closure of debit balances.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP MM (PO creation, payment requests, LC requests, etc.).
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel for MIS and procurement reporting.
• Knowledge of Import Procurement, EPCG License, International Payment Terms, and Capital Equipment Contracts.
• Self-driven individual contributor capable of working independently.
