Job summary

Hypro Group is seeking a procurement professional in Maharashtra to source engineering materials, SS pipes, plates, instruments, and compressors. The role focuses on supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, price negotiations, and vendor contracts, with emphasis on collaboration with vendors for new product development and risk management.

The candidate should have a BE Mechanical with 2-5 years of experience, preferably from EPC/process industries, and demonstrate leadership and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical with 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred EPC process-field background.
• Leadership ability and preferably experience.

Responsibilities

• Source search, identification and selection of engineering materials and components.
• RFP, RFQ, quotes, quote comparison and evaluation.
• Price negotiation with vendors and suppliers.
• Contracts with vendors/external providers.
• New product development with vendors.
• Vendor risk management and procurement planning.
• Schedules to vendors and delivery tracking against plan.
• Timely servicing of customer requirements and SOP compliance.

Role:

Sourcing of Engineering Materials, SS pipes, plates, instruments, compressors

Job Responsibilities:

• Source search, identification and selection
• RFP, RFQ, Quote, quote comparison and evaluation
• Price negotiation
• Contracts with vendors/ external providers
• New product development with vendor
• Vendor Risk management
• Procurement planning and schedules to vendors
• Delivery tracking: Plan vs actual
• Timely servicing of customer requirements
• Adherence to SOPs and guidelines

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical having equivalent technical manufacturing environment with 2-5 yrs of experience
• Preferred Industry background - EPC company in Process Field
• Leadership ability and preferably experience

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to multi-task, and adjust priorities
• Ability to manage customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups (as necessary)
• Good communication skills, sensible
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems & Microsoft Office
