Job summary

Puncom is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of AC plants and DG sets, ensuring reliable electrical systems operation. The role requires routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance, with emphasis on safety and statutory compliance.

The candidate should have a Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience in centralized plant and machinery maintenance, with strong documentation and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in centralized plant & machinery maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of AC Plants and DG Sets.
• Carry out routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical installations, plant and machinery.
• Ensure smooth and reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with Punjab Pollution Control Board, Municipal Corporation, Fire Department and electricity authorities for statutory requirements, as applicable.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and equipment-related documentation.
• Monitor plant and machinery performance and ensure timely corrective action.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical safety and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors/service agencies for maintenance and technical support, wherever required.
