Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an Engineer - Maintenance (AC) to execute preventive and corrective maintenance on AC systems. The role includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will support inventory and spare parts, maintain records, and coordinate with contractors on-site. The ideal candidate has BE/BTech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics with 1–5 years in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications include BE/BTech or a Diploma in Electrical or Electronics.
• Energy sector experience is preferred; 1–5 years is a must.
• If Diploma holder, an additional 2–3 years of experience may be required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Purpose/Objective

• Engineer - Maintenance (AC) is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on AC systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency and reliability.
• This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing AC equipment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the availability and performance targets for the systems.
• The Engineer plays a critical part in maintaining the AC systems' integrity, supporting inventory and spare parts management, and providing timely maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Preventive Maintenance Execution: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on AC equipment and components, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
• Perform regular inspections, testing, and performance assessments to identify potential issues before they affect operations.
• Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Address and resolve equipment malfunctions by executing corrective maintenance tasks as per protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with AC systems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions to maintain system reliability.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing maintenance activities on AC systems.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and trainings to ensure a zero-accident work environment.
• Follow environmental and safety protocols in all maintenance activities, including waste disposal, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and incident reporting.
• Operational and Performance Monitoring: Monitor AC system performance metrics, including availability, reliability, and efficiency, and report any deviations to supervisors.
• Conduct routine checks and diagnostics, capturing accurate data for performance analysis and reporting.
• Inventory and Spare Parts Management Support: Assist in the maintenance and management of tools, tackles, and spare parts inventory to ensure availability for critical maintenance tasks.
• Document spare part usage and requirements to support efficient inventory control.
• Compliance with Maintenance Standards: Follow established maintenance policies, procedures, and protocols in line with regulatory standards.
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities and comply with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support in Contractor and Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site during maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Report any issues with contractor performance or compliance to supervisors for further action.
• Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and spare part usage.
• Generate maintenance reports, update SAP or relevant software, and provide feedback to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Actively participate in improvement initiatives and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Support the identification and implementation of process improvements to increase maintenance efficiency.
