Job summary

Uppteam is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to coordinate with the Project Manager and Senior Engineer(s) to deliver design calculations and drawings. You will lead electrical design work, ensure quality, and maintain project records across LV switchboards, power distribution, earthing, lighting, and related calculations.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and prior exposure to US projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience working on US projects is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with Project Manager and senior engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage major aspects of the electrical design of projects.
• Act as Electrical Lead/Sub-lead depending on project scope.
• Coordinate design efforts with all other groups and maintain project records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Prepare and participate in design reviews.
• Design of Low Voltage Switchboards and LV sub-mains cabling, distribution and containment.
• Design of Power distribution to mechanical and public health equipment.
• Design of Earthing and bonding installations.
• Design of Lightning protection, Lighting, Lighting control and Emergency lighting.
• Electrical preliminary calculations.
• Single line Diagrams.
• Load Calculations.
• Wire sizing & Voltage Drop Calculations.
• Electrical Enlarged Room Plans / Sections.
• Excellent Electrical knowledge with expertise in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Should have worked on US projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University

The design Engineer shall coordinate with Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. Expected to be a good team player within the design team, the Design Engineer will:
