Bewild, an extension of Beforest, operates as a sustainable food-focused café in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, offering freshless experiences and a community space as part of the Experience Centre launch. This Junior Barista role is ideal for freshers in hospitality, with on-the-job training, four-day induction, and clear pathways to grow within Bewild and Beforest.

The position is full-time and on-site, paying ₹12,000–₹15,000 per month, with ESIC, gratuity, and a complimentary beverage per shift;

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience; freshers straight out of hospitality/culinary college welcome.
• Basic knowledge of coffee or beverage preparation is a plus, but training is provided.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced café environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
• Willing to work 9-hour shifts, including weekends.
• A genuine commitment to going above and beyond for every customer.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve food and beverages as per Bewild's recipes and standards, under supervision.
• Take guest orders and operate the POS system, handling payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, equipment, and seating/community area.
• Assist with stocking, restocking, and basic inventory checks.
• Learn and consistently follow standard recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Support the merchandise zone as needed - keeping displays tidy and assisting guests with basic product queries.
• Follow hygiene and food-safety protocols at all times.
• Support other departments and cross-functional teams as needed.

Reporting To: Senior Barista / Experience Centre Manager

• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month, based on experience.
• ESIC Benefit.
• Gratuity as per applicable statutory provisions.
• One complimentary beverage per shift.
• Note: Meals and accommodation are not provided.
• On-the-job training and a structured four-day induction during the first week, covering Bewild and Beforest's culture, systems, operational processes, and product knowledge.

Work Schedule

This is an on-ground, guest-facing role at a café that operates through the week, including weekends.

• Shift: 9 hours/day.
• Overtime (OT) is paid extra if required, and only when approved by Management.
• One weekly off, on a weekday (not Saturday or Sunday, since these are peak café days).
• Working on a government/public holiday earns one additional day off (comp-off) plus overtime pay for that day.

Role Overview

The Junior Barista is an entry-level role for someone starting out in café service - learning to prepare food & beverages to Bewild's standards, deliver friendly guest service, and keep the café running smoothly, under the guidance of the Senior Baristas and Manager.
