Job summary

SyncUp is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Executive (Data Entry) for our Head Office in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Experience required is 1 to 3 years with an immediate to 15–20 days notice.

You will process and verify vendor invoices, manage domestic and international payments, reconcile ledgers, support GST/TDS compliance, and assist monthly closing activities while maintaining strict controls.

Qualifications

• Mandatory proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Prime.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable workflows and vendor account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with GST and TDS compliance for vendor-related transactions.
• Effective communication and coordination for cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail, integrity and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices, bills, and payment requests with high accuracy.
• Handle vendor payments for domestic and international suppliers, ensuring internal approvals.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor ledgers to ensure financial accuracy.
• Resolve vendor queries related to invoices, payments, or discrepancies promptly.
• Process bank payment entries and assist in bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for timely invoice processing.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance for vendor payments and filings.
• Maintain organized documentation of invoices, approvals, and payment records.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, MIS reporting, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices, bills, and payment requests with high accuracy.

• Maintain and reconcile vendor ledgers on a regular basis to ensure financial accuracy.
• Resolve vendor queries related to invoices, payment delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Process bank payment entries and assist in bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records.
• Coordinate proactively with vendors and internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, etc.) for timely invoice processing and payments.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements related to vendor payments and filings.
• Maintain organized digital and physical documentation of all invoices, approvals, and payment records.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, MIS reporting, and internal/external audit requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
