Job summary

Lotus Technicals Pvt. Ltd. in Thane, Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Diploma or BE Electrical Engineer to assist in electrical calculations, prepare BOQs, and develop SLDs, wiring and block diagrams for industrial projects.

You will discuss technical and commercial details with vendors, monitor tasks to schedule, and work under senior engineers to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery of project deliverables across HVAC, lighting, and low-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in cable schedules, transformer sizing, electrical panel sizing, lighting lux level calculations, and BMS for HVAC.
• Ability to discuss technical details with vendors and senior engineers.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical calculations for cable scheduling, transformer sizing, panel sizing, lighting lux levels, earthing and BMS for HVAC.
• Prepare BOQs and costing under senior engineers guidance.
• Prepare technical specifications for electrical components.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams from approved inputs.
• Discuss technical details and commercial offers with vendors under guidance of senior engineers.
• Monitor assigned tasks against timelines and update reporting manager.
• Submit calculations, drawings, BOQs and specifications for technical review.

• 1. Toassist in performing electrical calculations for:
• a) Cablescheduling and calculations.
• b) Transformersizing and calculations.
• c) Electricalpanel sizing and calculations.
• d) Lightinglux level calculations.
• e) Earthingand lightning protection systemcalculations.
• g) Low-voltagesystem calculations.
• h) BuildingManagement System (BMS) requirements for Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning(HVAC) systems.
• 2. Toprepare the overall electrical Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and costing for individual projects undertheguidanceofseniorengineers .
• 3. Toprepare the technical specifications of electrical components for individualprojects undertheguidanceofseniorengineers .
• 4. Toprepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and block diagrams forindividual projects based on approved design inputs.
• 5. Todiscuss technical details and commercial offers with vendors undertheguidanceofseniorengineers .
• 6. Tomonitor assigned tasks against agreed timelines and regularly update thereporting manager (RM) on work progress.
• 7. Tosubmitelectricalcalculations,drawings,BOQs,andtechnicalspecificationstotheSr.Engineer-Electricalfortechnicalreviewandverification.

Knowledge:

• 1. Workingknowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• 2. Familiarity with electrical system analysis.
• 3. Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) andRevit software.
• 4. Basic knowledge of International ElectrotechnicalCommission (IEC) codes and standards.
• 5. Basic understanding of industrial electricalsystems, including transformers, Diesel Generator (DG) sets, Low-Tension (LT) panels, and powerdistribution systems.
