Lotus Technicals Private Limited in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work from conceptual to detailed engineering of industrial electrical projects. You will perform load calculations for HVAC and other processes, create Single Line Diagrams from transformer to use, and size transformers, DG sets, busbars, and panels.

You will prepare cable schedules, lighting calculations with DIALux, and coordinate with SCADA/BMS and project management to deliver robust

Responsabilidades

• Conceptual design, basic design, and detailed engineering of industrial electrical projects.
• Work on power load calculations for HVAC, process equipment, utility equipment, lighting, etc.
• Prepare and represent basic electrical schemes from transformer up to point of use as an SLD.
• Equipment sizing and selection for electrical systems (transformers, DG sets, busbars, panels).
• Prepare and review detailed control and power panel SLDs as per client schemes.
• Prepare cable schedules and determine switchgear ratings based on voltage drop.
• Perform lighting calculations and designs using DIALux.
• Coordinate on instrumentation systems related to SCADA, BMS, utilities, and HVAC.
• Prepare BOQs with backup costing and vendor quotations.
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for electrical components.
• Check RCP, switch/socket locations on layouts.
• Complete all technical documentation for procurement, delivery, and installation.
• Coordinate with PM on site issues and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure completion of engineering deliverables within timelines.

• To work on conceptual design, basic design, anddetailed engineering of industrial projects in electricals and instrumentation.
• To work on power load calculations based onequipment loads related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC),process equipment, utility equipment, lighting, etc.
• To work on basic electrical schemes starting withthe transformer up to the point of use and represent the same in a Single LineDiagram (SLD).
• To perform equipment sizing and selection relatedto electrical systems based on load sheets and SLDs, including transformersizing, Diesel Generator (DG) set sizing, busbar sizing, and panel sizing.
• To prepare and review detailed control and powerpanel SLDs as per the schemes agreed upon with the client and the ProjectManagement Department.
• To prepare cable schedules and determine switchgearratings based on voltage drop calculations.
• To perform lighting calculations based on luxlevels and working environment requirements.
• To perform lighting designs and calculations usingDIALux software.
• To work on lightning arrestor design and earthingdesign, including routing, grids, and pits.
• To work on cable tray sizing based on cable routingand cable loads.
• To work and coordinate on instrumentation systemsrelated to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), BuildingManagement System (BMS), operation of utilities, and HVAC systems.
• To prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQs) along withproper backup costing and quotations from vendors for all components areneeded.
• To prepare technical specifications and data sheetsfor all electrical components and equipment typically used in industrialprojects.
• To check Remote Control Panel (RCP), switch socketlocations, and light switch locations on layouts.
• To complete all technical documentation needed forprocurement, delivery, and installation of components at the site, like designdata, technical specifications, design qualification, construction drawings,typical drawings, etc., involving vendor coordination.
• To coordinate with the Project ManagementDepartment on various site-related issues, troubleshoot them, and providetechnical solutions within reasonable timelines along with properdocumentation.
• To ensure completion of assigned engineering deliverableswithin the timelines set by the Project Management Department and the client.
