Job summary

Petrocon Engineers and Consultants (PEC) is seeking an Electrical Engineer in India to manage concurrent projects and deliver robust electrical designs. You will analyze problems, create solutions meeting client needs, and provide technical assistance while working with minimal supervision.

The role involves reviewing specifications, drawings and vendor documents, preparing layouts, BOQs/MTOs, and load lists, and ensuring compliance with standards such as NEC/IEEE/IEC/IS.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.
• Experience with project drawings, vendor documents, and standards like NEC/IEEE/IEC/IS is expected.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Navis Works and ETAP is essential.
• Ability to prepare layouts, BOQs/MTOs and electrical load lists is required.
• Familiar with sizing calculations for cables, buses, transformers, DG, batteries and UPS.

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent electrical projects and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Analyze problems and devise solutions using engineering fundamentals.
• Provide technical assistance and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Review specifications, drawings and vendor equipment documentation for discrepancies.
• Prepare deliverables lists and ensure timely project close-out.

Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent projects
• Efficiently analyze problems and use your experience and knowledge of engineering fundamentals to create a solution that meets the clients needs
• Provide technical assistance when needed
• Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reviews specifications, drawings and vendor equipment documentation from within the discipline, other disciplines, for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks discrepancy resolution.
