Job summary

Pan Gulf Technologies Pvt Ltd in Pune is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in industrial and oil & gas EPC projects to lead design activities.

You will prepare SLDs, specs, datasheets, cable schedules, and perform ETAP/Arc Flash studies, coordinating with vendors and clients, with regular site visits.

Strong knowledge of ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD and MV/LV distribution is required to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient electrical designs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial and oil & gas EPC projects.
• Technically sound.
• Self-disciplined with good listening skills.
• Proactive in execution and coordination.
• Sound knowledge of software tools like ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare single line diagrams, relay and metering diagrams, and electrical layouts.
• Prepare specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.
• Perform sizing calculations for transformers, DG, earthing, lighting, cables, batteries, UPS, etc.
• Create cable schedules, interconnection schedules, switchgear schedules, and MTOs.
• Conduct electrical system studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, arc flash) using ETAP.
• Prepare instrument index and I/O lists, instrument datasheets.
• Review offers and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation reports.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and documents.
• Inspect equipment at vendor works.
• Coordinate with other departments, clients, and vendors; conduct regular site visits.

Job title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Single Line Diagrams, Relay and Metering Diagrams, Electrical layouts.
• Preparation of specifications and Datasheet for various electrical equipment
• Sizing calculation Transformer, DG, Earthing, Lighting, Cables, Battery, UPS etc.
• Preparation of Cable Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Switchgear schedule, MTO.
• Electrical System Studies (Load flow, short circuit studies, Motor Starting study, Relay Coordination, Arc Flash Study) using the ETAP version 11.1.1/12.5.0.
• Preparation of Instrument Index and I/O List, Instrument datasheets
• Reviewing of offers & preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation Report.
• Review and Approval of Vendor Drawings and Documents.
• Inspection of Equipments at Vendor Works.
• Coordination with other departments, client, and vendors for better understanding of project
• requirement.
• Regular site visits for coordination meeting with client, site team and vendor.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5 -10 years experience in industrial and O&G projects/ EPC consulting firm.

• Technical Qualification - Sound knowledge of Software Knowledge of various standards like Dialux / ETAP / Autocad .
• Preferred- Experience in electrical power distribution network of Medium Voltage and Low voltage system of Oil & gas projects. Worked on Battery storage projects will be added advantage. Technically sound in switchgears (Application, protection & control), Transformer, motors UPS and Emergency power supply and plant layouts
