Job summary

MCXCCL is seeking a Senior Manager - IT Operations/Support (Night Shift Lead) to oversee production systems during night hours. The role includes managing EOD/BOD processes, coordinating DC/DR failovers, and ensuring Linux-based environments are secure and highly available.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 1–10 years in IT operations, with strong incident management and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive performance improvements and reliable service

• 1-10 years of experience.
• Experience managing Linux-based production systems.
• Night shift lead/IT operations experience.
• Strong incident response and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee production systems during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.
• Execute End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) job processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Coordinate DC and DR failover activities, ensuring availability and reliability of critical systems.
• System patching activities, ensuring all systems are up-to-date with the latest security and functionality updates.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, support teams and business teams to address and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Prepare and share comprehensive periodic status reports detailing performance, incidents, and improvements.
• Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
• Evaluation and performance optimisation of the system.
• Collaboration with Software vendor and OEM
