Job summary

Technorithm Engineering in Pune seeks an experienced automotive door design engineer for FR/RR closures within BIW. You will work on inner/outer panels, hinges, and related subsystems using CATIA/UG NX and Teamcenter PLM, coordinating with suppliers to advance development.

Strong DFMEA/DVP/DFA knowledge, GD&T and tolerance stack-up skills are expected, along with clear English communication and willingness to travel to client locations. Immediate to 30 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in (Closure) FR/RR Door Design & Development in automotive.
• Hands-on in BIW closure (FR/RR Door) systems and subsystem designs.
• Understanding of design changes on FR/RR Door parts (inner/outer panel, intrusion beam, reinforcement, hinges).
• At least one complete FR/RR Door parts project on a passenger car is a plus.
• Proficient with CATIA/UG NX and PLM tools like Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, DFA and related documents.
• Knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Ability to present concepts and master sections; tolerance stack-up and GD&T knowledge a plus.
• Supplier interaction and part development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of FR/RR doors and related BIW closure components.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure fit, form and function.
• Engage with suppliers for part development and issue resolution.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations of concepts and master sections.
• Contribute to DFMEA, DVP and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities –

• Experience in (Closure) FR/RR Door Design & Development at Automobile experience.
• Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on BIW closure (FR/RR Door) systems and their subsystem designs.
• Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on FR/RR Door parts (Inner /Outer panel, Intrusion Beam, Reinforcement, Hinges etc.) for Automotive Sector.
• At least one complete project execution of FR/RR Door parts experience for passenger car project added advantage.
• Candidate should be experienced in CATIA/UG NX and PLM software's like Team center.
• Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.
• Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process.
• Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section.
• Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.
• Hand on experience in Part development/supplier interaction added advantage.
