Job summary

Parag Milk Foods in Mumbai is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage end-to-end invoicing and day-to-day financial entries, ensuring accuracy in Tally and ERP systems. The role emphasizes GST/TDS compliance, vendor payments, and meticulous documentation.

You will coordinate with business and logistics teams to ensure timely invoicing, maintain ledgers, perform month-end closings, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, invoice processing, and reconciliation.
• Good accounting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase, sales, PO-based and non-PO-based invoices in Tally and ERP systems.
• Record day-to-day accounting transactions, bank entries, journal entries, and petty cash.
• Process vendor payments and reconcile invoices.
• Handle credit notes, debit notes, TDS booking, payments, and reconciliation.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, intercompany, AP, and AR reconciliations.
• GST-related activities, including e-invoice and e-way bill generation.
• Maintain ledgers, accounting records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist with GST/TDS compliance, audits, and month-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with business and logistics teams to ensure timely invoicing and reporting.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

• Process vendor payments and knock off payments against the correct invoices.


• Handle credit notes, debit notes, TDS booking, payments, and reconciliation.


• Perform bank, vendor, customer, intercompany, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable reconciliations.


• Handle GST-related activities, including e-invoice and e-way bill generation.


• Maintain ledgers, accounting records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.


• Assist with GST/TDS compliance, audits, and month-end closing activities.


• Coordinate with business and logistics teams to ensure timely completion of invoicing, credit notes, and other reporting activities.


• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.Role & responsibilities
