Job summary

Coforge in Bengaluru is seeking an L2 Production Support professional to handle enterprise-grade applications. You will read code, debug issues, analyze stack traces, and collaborate with development teams to resolve incidents.

The role requires strong SQL, Unix/Linux skills, and familiarity with microservices and REST APIs. You will engage in incident, problem, and change management, and use observability tools to maintain service reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, CIS, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of L2 Production Support/Application Support experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on Java with debugging, stack trace analysis, and collaboration with development teams.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and data analysis.
• Good Unix/Linux knowledge with log analysis and production issue troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed apps.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills using logs, code, and DB investigations.
• Experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools: Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, AppDynamics.
• Awareness of AI-powered productivity tools.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or other cloud certs are a plus.
• ITIL/ITSM exposure preferred.
• Excellent communication with business users, developers, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills for fast-paced production support.
• Banking/Financial Services or Investment Banking experience is advantageous.

• Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, data analysis, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Good Unix/Linux knowledge with experience in log analysis, process monitoring, file handling, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and distributed application environments.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify issues through application logs, code analysis, and database investigations.
• Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, AppDynamics, or similar.
• AI-powered productivity tools.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or other cloud certifications would be an added advantage.
• ITIL/ITSM certification or exposure to IT Service Management frameworks is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users, development teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
• Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Investment Banking environments will be an advantage.
