Job summary

Iris Software, a leading IT services company in India, invites a Senior Java Engineer to join our team in Uttar Pradesh. You will design and build scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices while applying secure coding practices and modern architectural patterns.

This role emphasizes API design, CI/CD improvements, performance tuning, and mentorship of junior developers as you contribute to mission-critical projects for our global clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java 8+ with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with API design, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, data structures, and OOP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed systems.
• Develop reusable backend components following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
• Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and JVM optimization.
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, testing support, and deployment readiness.
• Mentor junior developers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed and enterprise-grade systems.
• Develop reusable backend components and enterprise services following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
