Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is looking for a skilled Java backend developer to design and build scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will own API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed systems.

You will develop reusable backend components, optimize performance, and contribute to secure coding practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java 8+ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and security (JWT) patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies.
• Develop reusable backend components following clean architecture.
• Optimize performance with caching, async processing, and JVM tuning.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of modules including testing and deployment readiness.
