Job summary

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience.

• Experience with REST APIs, data structures, and middleware messaging.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Lead strategic technical decisions related to application modernization and cloud-native adoption.
• Architect distributed systems and API-driven ecosystems aligned with enterprise goals.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and reusable frameworks across teams.
• Lead engineering teams and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive non-functional requirements like scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives for future-ready ecosystems.
• Design and drive enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using messaging technologies.
• Collaborate with leadership and enterprise architects to align engineering with strategy.
• Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, and containerization practices.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies for platform stability.
• Provide strong technical leadership aligned with business objectives.
• Balance delivery accountability with quality and teamwork.
• Mentor high-performing teams fostering ownership and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
• Demonstrate stakeholder management and visibility into risks and decisions.
• Promote governance standards, automation, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

Backend Unit Testing (JUnit), Data Structure, Microservices + REST APIs, OOPS Concepts, Java 8+, JPA, Kafka, Git Hub, MongoDB, Oracle, Spring Boot + Spring Security (JWT)

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Also ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Lead strategic technical decisions related to application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.
• Architect distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API-driven ecosystems aligned with enterprise goals.
• Establish engineering standards, governance practices, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines across teams.
• Lead engineering teams and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive implementation of non-functional requirements including scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives ensuring future-ready application ecosystems.
• Design and drive enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using relevant messaging and event-streaming technologies.
