Persistent is seeking a Technical Lead - Java Full Stack to drive the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI-assisted engineering.

You will mentor engineers, lead architecture decisions, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Business teams to translate requirements into reusable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

About Position:

We are looking for a Technical Lead - Java Full Stack to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI-assisted engineering practices. The role will drive architecture decisions, specification-led development using SpecKit, engineering quality, and collaboration across Product, Architecture, and Business teams.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud-native technologies.
• Drive architecture decisions and specification-led development using SpecKit and AIDLC practices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and ensure engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business teams to translate requirements into reusable platform capabilities.
• Champion GitHub Copilot, automation, CI/CD, quality engineering, and operational excellence.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API-first development, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, SpecKit, Claude, or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
• Experience designing configuration-driven or metadata-driven applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
