Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Technical Lead - Java Full Stack to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI-assisted engineering practices. You will guide architecture decisions, drive specification-led development with SpecKit, and mentor engineers across the SDLC.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Business teams to translate requirements into reusable platform capabilities, champion automation, CI/CD, and deliver engineering

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+ and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API-first development, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

• Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and ensure engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business teams to translate requirements into reusable platform capabilities.
• Champion GitHub Copilot, automation, CI/CD, quality engineering, and operational excellence.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5-8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API-first development, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, SpecKit, Claude, or other AI-assisted development tools.
