Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure across all Persistent locations.

You will drive DevOps, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and AI-enabled solutions, collaborating with product teams to deliver high-performance, secure software. 6–10 years of experience required, hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Strong experience in ReactJS and/or AngularJS for front-end development.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with API gateways, service discovery, monitoring and logging.
• Familiarity with security, authentication, and authorization in cloud apps.
• Experience with LLMs/RAG frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in Agile environments.

About Position:

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot Microservices, modern front-end frameworks, and Azure cloud services. You will drive the adoption of DevOps practices, containerization, AI-powered solutions, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures to deliver innovative business solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using ReactJS
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for high-performance applications.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Development.
• Strong experience in ReactJS and/or AngularJS for front-end application development.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases, database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

• Experience designing and implementing RAG-based applications using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI application architecture, and model integration patterns.
