Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is hiring a senior developer who will act as a significant individual contributor and technical lead. You will mentor teammates and drive the codebase toward successful delivery of complex microservice-based solutions.

Key responsibilities include owning design decisions, ensuring performance and security, and guiding deployment in cloud-native environments using GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role demands hands-on engineering excellence and collaborative delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing microservices and API patterns.
• Hands-on with Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with OAuth2/OIDC security in production.
• Exposure to GCP and containerized APIs.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

Expected to be a significant individual contributor to the code base.

Directly lead and mentor other developers in the team.

Ultimately responsible for the technical success of the project.

Mandatory Skills

• Spring boot, Restful WebServices, Java, Microservices, containerised APIs, GCP (preferred), low level design, test automation.
• Experience with GCP Containerized APIs ( Cloud agnostic ) with Development & deployment
• Microservices authorization experience using OAuth2.0, OIDC
• Must have hands on experience in Microservice implementation
• Good exposure on the Design and well versed with Design patterns for API/Microservices
• Hands on with Java 8.0 and above, Multithreading and Spring modules - AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA etc.
• Should have practical experience with troubleshooting performance, security aspects for Microservices for the Production environment
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
• An understanding of project delivery models like Agile etc
• Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes in GCP
• Security related authZ and API ingeration
• Jenkins, Github for code repository and management
