Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a senior developer who can significantly contribute to the codebase and mentor peers. You will lead and guide the team, owning the technical success of projects.

Deep expertise in Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud deployments (GCP) is essential, along with security-focused API design and production troubleshooting. Expect hands-on implementation of microservices, design patterns, and collaboration within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead level Java microservices experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on with OAuth2.0/OIDC based security in microservices.
• Proficient in designing scalable API/microservice architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to GCP and containerized APIs in production.
• Strong troubleshooting for performance and security in production.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical leader, mentoring developers and guiding architecture decisions.
• Own the technical success of the project and ensure robust delivery.
• Design and implement microservices with proper patterns and security.
• Collaborate on CI/CD and cloud deployments (GCP).

Expected to be a significant individual contributor to the code base.

Directly lead and mentor other developers in the team.

Ultimately responsible for the technical success of the project.

Mandatory Skills

• Spring boot, Restful WebServices, Java, Microservices, containerised APIs, GCP (preferred), low level design, test automation.
• Experience with GCP Containerized APIs ( Cloud agnostic ) with Development & deployment
• Microservices authorization experience using OAuth2.0, OIDC
• Must have hands on experience in Microservice implementation
• Good exposure on the Design and well versed with Design patterns for API/Microservices
• Hands on with Java 8.0 and above, Multithreading and Spring modules - AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA etc.
• Should have practical experience with troubleshooting performance, security aspects for Microservices for the Production environment
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
• An understanding of project delivery models like Agile etc
• Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes in GCP
• Security related authZ and API ingeration
• Jenkins, Github for code repository and management
