Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies in Lucknow, India, seeks an experienced senior software engineer to join as a key contributor to our codebase. You will lead and mentor peers and be ultimately responsible for the technical success of critical projects.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and containerized APIs on GCP, with a strong emphasis on design patterns, security, and robust CI/CD practices in production environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring modules (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA).
• Expertise in microservices design, development, and deployment on cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2.0 / OIDC for service authorization.
• Experience implementing microservices and API security in production.
• Familiar with design patterns for APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of Agile/Mobile/DevOps practices is a plus.

Expected to be a significant individual contributor to the code base.

Directly lead and mentor other developers in the team.

Ultimately responsible for the technical success of the project.

Mandatory Skills

• Spring boot, Restful WebServices, Java, Microservices, containerised APIs, GCP (preferred), low level design, test automation.
• Experience with GCP Containerized APIs ( Cloud agnostic ) with Development & deployment
• Microservices authorization experience using OAuth2.0, OIDC
• Must have hands on experience in Microservice implementation
• Good exposure on the Design and well versed with Design patterns for API/Microservices
• Hands on with Java 8.0 and above, Multithreading and Spring modules - AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA etc.
• Should have practical experience with troubleshooting performance, security aspects for Microservices for the Production environment
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
• An understanding of project delivery models like Agile etc
• Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes in GCP
• Security related authZ and API ingeration
• Jenkins, Github for code repository and management
