Persistent Systems Limited in Pune is seeking an experienced Java Azure Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise cloud solutions. You will lead architecture, external integrations, and engineering excellence.

The role demands 8–12 years in Java, Azure, and IaC with hands-on coding and strong leadership. You will mentor teams, define standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software development, cloud engineering, or technical leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications using Java and Azure technologies.
• Define solution architectures, integration patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry-standard tools.
• Guide engineering teams through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to evaluate solution alternatives and make technical recommendations.
• Drive CI/CD adoption, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and quality practices.
• Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments across projects.
• Mentor developers and promote knowledge sharing, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical decisions and project progress to technical and business stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Java Azure Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications and cloud solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with 8–12 years of experience in Java development, Microsoft Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a strong focus on technical leadership, solution design, and engineering excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, product teams, DevOps engineers, cloud specialists, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions. The role requires a combination of hands‑on development expertise, cloud architecture knowledge, and leadership capabilities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8–12 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building enterprise‑grade applications using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Expertise in designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud‑based solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of system integration, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Experience in application performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile and cross‑functional delivery environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and leadership skills.
