Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Java Lead Engineer to drive design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications. You will define architecture, coding standards, and best practices while mentoring teams across the full SDLC.

The role emphasizes scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, security, and collaboration with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps. Strong leadership and hands-on Java expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
• Deep understanding of Core Java, Java 8+ features, OOP concepts, design patterns.
• Experience building enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud.
• Experience developing cloud-native and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of service discovery, configuration management, and API gateway concepts.
• Proven experience designing and developing Microservices architectures.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience implementing API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis is an advantage.
• Experience handling high-volume transactional applications.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event-Driven Architectures.
• Knowledge of message queues, event streaming, and distributed communication patterns.
• Experience implementing scalable messaging solutions.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Containerized Deployments.
