Job summary

Digisecpro Technology in Pune, India seeks a skilled JAMF Administrator to manage and support the Apple endpoint environment, handling JAMF Pro administration, device lifecycle, and security compliance for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.

You will deploy apps, manage ABM/ADE, perform PreStage Enrollments, OS upgrades, and collaborate with Security, Network, and Infra teams to resolve complex issues; strong scripting and patch management are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of JAMF Pro administration and Apple device management.
• Hands-on experience with ABM and ADE.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS management.
• Experience with FileVault, configuration profiles, app deployment, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the JAMF Pro platform.
• Manage policies, configuration profiles, Smart Groups, and inventories.
• Configure roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor platform health, device check-ins, and inventory status.
• Support JAMF upgrades, testing, and platform optimization.
• Manage ABM/ADE, PreStage Enrollments, and device provisioning.
• Coordinate device lifecycle activities with IT teams.
• Deploy security policies and FileVault encryption; escrow keys.
• Monitor compliance and drive remediation activities.
• Package, deploy, update, and remove macOS applications.
• Support software patching and version compliance.
• Resolve enrollment, MDM, policy, and OS upgrade incidents.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled JAMF Administrator to manage and support the organization's Apple endpoint environment. The role will be responsible for JAMF Pro administration, device lifecycle management, security compliance, application deployment, and operational support for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.

JAMF Administration

• Administer and maintain the JAMF Pro platform.
• Manage policies, configuration profiles, Smart Groups, and device inventories.
• Configure roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor platform health, device check-ins, and inventory status.
• Support JAMF upgrades, testing, and platform optimization.

Device Management

• Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Configure and maintain PreStage Enrollments.
• Support device provisioning, enrollment, re-enrollment, retirement, wipe, and lock activities.
• Coordinate device lifecycle activities with relevant IT teams.

Security & Compliance

• Deploy and maintain security policies and configuration profiles.
• Manage FileVault encryption and recovery key escrow.
• Monitor device compliance and drive remediation activities.
• Support endpoint hardening and security initiatives.

Application & Patch Management

• Package, deploy, update, and remove macOS applications.
• Manage App Store, VPP, and third-party applications.
• Maintain JAMF Self Service catalog.
• Support software patching and version compliance.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Resolve incidents related to enrollment, MDM, policies, profiles, applications, and OS upgrades.
• Troubleshoot FileVault, certificates, Self Service, and inventory issues.
• Collaborate with Security, Network, Identity, and Infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in JAMF Pro administration and Apple device management.
• Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS management.
• Experience with FileVault, configuration profiles, application deployment, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
