Job summary

Photon Brains is seeking an experienced Intune & JAMF Administrator to manage enterprise endpoint solutions for Apple and Windows devices. You will oversee security, compliance, software deployment, and automation while delivering Level 2 operational support.

The role sits in a Managed Services team serving a customer environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jamf Pro, Intune, Endpoint Manager, and ITIL v4 practices, with strong scripting and automation skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Apple devices with Jamf Pro and macOS administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager for Windows devices.
• Experience in design, deployment, and enforcement of security policies across Apple and Windows endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Mac and Windows endpoint management incidents.
• Troubleshoot device management, patching, software deployment, configuration, compliance, and reporting issues.
• Collaborate with Level 3 teams for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Intune & JAMF Administrator with 5+ years of experience, to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Jamf Pro. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Apple and Windows devices, ensuring endpoint security, software deployment, compliance, automation, and delivering Level 2 operational support. The role will be part of the Managed Services team responsible for providing secure, compliant, and efficient endpoint management services across the customer's environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Level 2 Support & Managed Services

• Provide Level 2 support for Mac and Windows endpoint management incidents.
• Troubleshoot device management, patching, software deployment, configuration, compliance, and reporting issues.
• Collaborate with the Customer's Level 3 teams for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Deliver services following ITIL v4 best practices.
• Support 24x5 shift-based operations.

Device Management

Jamf Administration

• Administer and maintain the Jamf Pro environment.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of Apple devices including:MacBooksiPhonesiPadsApple TVs
• Configure and manage:Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP)Apple Business Manager (ABM)Configuration ProfilesPoliciesSmart GroupsPackage, deploy, and maintain macOS applications.
• Manage software deployment through Jamf Self Service.
• Manage application licensing and updates.
• Troubleshoot Jamf policies and software deployment issues.

Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Manager

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune environments.
• Administer Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Configure device enrollment methods including:Windows AutopilotBYODCorporate-owned devices
• Manage:Configuration ProfilesCompliance PoliciesSecurity BaselinesDevice Enrollment Manager (DEM)
• Deploy, update, and troubleshoot applications using Intune.
• Manage Windows Autopilot provisioning and deployment.
• Configure Conditional Access policies with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Monitor endpoint health, compliance, and security posture.
• Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).

Security & Compliance

• Enforce endpoint security policies for Apple and Windows devices. Implement:FileVault EncryptionBitLocker ManagementPassword PoliciesSecurity BaselinesEndpoint Security PoliciesManage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Perform OS patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor endpoint compliance and generate security reports.

Patch Management & Policy Enforcement

• Perform endpoint patching as approved by the customer.
• Improve compliance through standardized patch management processes.
• Implement and maintain endpoint policies.
• Ensure policy enforcement across managed devices.

User Experience

• Monitor user experience using customer-provided tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve end-user experience.
• Recommend process and technical improvements.

Problem Management

• Perform trend analysis of support tickets.
• Identify recurring issues and automation opportunities.
• Support continuous service improvement initiatives.

Automation & Scripting

Develop and maintain automation solutions using:

• PowerShell
• Microsoft Graph API
• BashShell Scripting
• Python (Preferred)
• AppleScript (Optional)

• Automating device provisioning
• Automating configuration management
• Integrating Jamf with enterprise systems and workflows

Application Management

• Package and deploy macOS applications.
