Job summary

Neelam Healthcare in Chandigarh is seeking an IVF Counselor to guide patients through procedures such as egg donor, surrogacy, IUI, MTP, and embryo transfer. You will explain payment plans, medicines, video and written consents, and manage file work.

You will coordinate IVF pick-up and transfer dates, admission procedures, and post-transfer care, including ultrasound scheduling, injections, reports, and MRD documentation for monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in IVF counseling and guiding patients through procedures.
• Knowledge of consent processes (video and written) and payment procedures.
• Familiarity with MRD submission and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Counsel IVF patients on procedures, payments, medicines, video and written consents, and filing.
• Counsel on gynae procedures (TLH, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, TAH, Myomectomy) with patients.
• Handle IVF-related confirmations, pick-up/transfer dates, and admission procedures.
• Oversee ultrasound, injections, reports, medicines for in-between and post-transfer care.
• Manage collection of IVF/OPD reports and monthly MRD/HOD submissions.

Role & responsibilities

• IVF counseling of the patients regarding the different procedures like Egg donor, surrogacy, sperm donor, IVF-ICSI, embryo donation, PESA/TESA/micro TESA, embryo reduction, day 3 and day 5 transfer, laser and hatching.
• Counseling of the IVF patients regarding the whole procedures payment, medicines, video consent, written consent and file work.
• Counseling of gynae procedures like (TLH, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, TAH, Myomectomy etc. with respect to the patients.
• IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) consents.
• MTP consents.
• Regarding the egg donor’s video consent, written consent, and their payment.
• Responding to the phone calls of these patients regarding the queries.
• Confirmations of IVF pick-up and transfer dates.
• Admission procedure of IVF patients on IVF pick-up and transfer dates.
• Total care of the in-between procedures like ultrasound, medicines, injections, reports etc. of the patient.
• Total care of the patients after the embryo transfer like ultrasound, test dates, injections and medicines confirmation and stay of the patient.
• Collection of the reports of the IVF patients and some OPD patients.
• Submission of all the IVF transfer files in MRD at the end of every month.
• Submission of the IVF list and the MTP list to H.O.D. at the end of every month.
