Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Mumbai is seeking an entry-to-mid level IT support specialist to handle day-to-day technical issues for employees, including hardware, software, network, and access problems. You will respond in person, by phone, or remotely, and escalate complex cases as needed.

As part of the IT team, you will set up devices for new joiners, wipe devices for exits, maintain inventory, and log work in the helpdesk system, helping keep operations smooth for a busy office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for employees (hardware, software, network, system problems) via in person, phone, or remote access.
• Manage hardware and equipment: set up, configure, issue laptops/desktops, peripherals, and other IT assets; maintain asset inventory.
• Handle software installation and access: install/update software, manage user accounts, email setup, and access permissions (Active Directory, VPN, logins).
• Maintain IT infrastructure: monitor and maintain office network, servers, printers, and systems; escalate complex issues to senior staff or vendors as needed.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and documentation: prepare devices for new joiners, wipe devices for exiting employees, maintain records/tickets in helpdesk system.

• Handle software installation and access – Install, update, and license software applications; manage user accounts, email setup, and access permissions (e.g., Active Directory, VPN, systems logins).
• Maintain IT infrastructure – Monitor and maintain office network, servers, printers, and other systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations; escalat... complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when needed.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and documentation – Prepare and configure devices for new joiners, retrieve and wipe equipment from exiting employees, and maintain records/tickets of issues resolved using a helpdesk/ticketing system.
