Ebizon in India is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide end-user support for Windows 10/11 and desktop hardware. You will troubleshoot issues, install and maintain operating systems and peripherals, and assist with domain-related tasks.

The role requires 1+ year of IT support experience, basic AD/GP understanding, and strong communication to help users and teams resolve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer / End User Support with at least 1+ year of experience in providing technical support for Windows operating systems, domain environments, and general hardware and software issues. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Handle domain joining, user account configuration, and basic domain-related troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, and DNS basics.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, application errors, and peripheral devices.
• Maintain IT asset records and document technical issues and resolutions.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to end users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in IT support, desktop support, or technical support.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Basic understanding of domain environments and domain controllers.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user accounts, and Group Policy basics is preferred.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, RAM, hard drives/SSDs, and peripherals.
• Knowledge of software installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and LAN.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in a corporate IT support environment.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management.
