Job summary

emagine Group in Chennai seeks an IT Onsite Support Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support to end users, troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral issues, and maintain documentation. This role is based in Pillaipakkam, Sriperumbudur and requires responsiveness in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years IT support experience, strong Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, basic networking knowledge, good communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests

Role: IT Onsite Support Engineer

We are seeking an IT Onsite Support Engineer to provide exceptional technical support for end users. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support with strong troubleshooting abilities in a variety of scenarios related to hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for end users, including desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and Microsoft 365-related incidents.
• Handle IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution in accordance with support procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, and support procedures.

Required Skills And Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common endpoint issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and endpoint management.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM processes is preferred.
