Job summary

Wsne Consulting seeks an experienced IT Project Manager at a Senior Consultant level to lead cross-functional teams in delivering IT infrastructure initiatives across complex environments, ensuring business continuity and compliance.

You will plan end-to-end infra projects, manage scope, timelines and budgets, and report to senior management. Travel to client locations 5 days a week is required; strong SDLC knowledge and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 9+ years of IT experience with exposure to IT infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies servers, storage, backup and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in PM tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile, waterfall, Hybrid).
• Willingness to travel to client locations 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of infra projects like data center setup/migration, network & server upgrades, end user device refresh / VDI rollout, IT security infra, network devices, IT Infra asset management.
• Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, risks, timelines and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs and communication plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management on progress, risks and milestones.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams in delivering IT Infra initiatives across complex IT environments, ensuring business continuity and compliance with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects
• Manage end to end delivery of infra projects like data center setup/migration, network & server upgrades, end user device refresh / VDI rollout, IT security infra (firewalls, IAM, endpoint protection), network devices, IT Infra asset management etc.
• Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, risks, timelines and budgets
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs and communication plans
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management on progress, risks and milestones

Key Skills required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• 9+ years of experience in IT with some exposure in managing IT Infrastructure projects
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies servers, storage, backup and cloud platforms
